I hope everyone is doing well and is social distancing. COVID-19 has changed the way we are living at the present time and will continue to do so for awhile. The City is staying up to date on the executive orders and recommendations of the Federal, State, and County Government along with the CDC and DSHS recommendations during this pandemic.
In an effort to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the City’s buildings and part of the park have been closed. While the playgrounds, basketball court, and pavilions have been closed to assist in social distancing, the walking trail remains open as long as 6 foot distancing is kept per CDC recommendations. I know this is difficult for families, I just want to keep our citizens as safe as possible.
Even though City Hall is closed to in person contact, we are here to answer your calls Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm. To pay your water bill, please call the office to pay over the phone or drop your payment in the drop box located to the left of door to City Hall. There are envelopes available below the drop box and be sure to write your name on the outside of the envelope.
As a reminder, there is a County Wide Curfew in place from 10pm to 6am each day until further notice.
I know each of you have been doing an excellent job of staying home and limiting gatherings to less than 10 people. Please continue to do so, to lookout for one another and take the necessary precautions. We will get through this together.Thank you for following these guidelines.
The City Wide Garage Sale has been cancelled as a precaution.
