NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND CALLED MEETING CITY COUNCIL OF BOGATA, TEXAS

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Bogata, Texas, will hold a Public Hearing and a Called City Council Meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code.

II. Public Forum / Public Comments

Members of the public may speak on an agenda item during the public forum section of the meeting or at the time the agenda item is called for discussion by the Mayor.

• Speakers are allowed three (3) minutes per speaker. Time may not be saved, transferred, or assigned. • Members of the public wishing to address the Council on non-agenda items may do so during this section only, with a three (3) minute limit per speaker. • In accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Council Members may not discuss or respond to non-agenda items. • All speakers must maintain proper decorum. Threats, personal insults, or vulgar/profane language are out of order and may result in forfeiture of remaining time and possible removal from the meeting. • Citizens wishing to comment must submit their request in writing to the City Secretary at least ten (10) minutes prior to the meeting. VI. City Council Comments

Pursuant to Texas Government Code §551.0415(b), the Mayor and City Council Members may announce city or community events and request that items be placed on future City Council agendas.

VII. Consent Agenda

All matters listed under this item are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless requested by a Council Member, in which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered separately.

VIII. Executive Session

The City Council may convene into Executive Session at any time during this meeting as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, including but not limited to:
